Two key events this weekend:
- I am attending the Poetry London 100 event at the Southbank in London tonight. The evening is to celebrate 100 issues of Poetry London (the poetry magazine I founded back in the 1980s).
- The British Library, with impeccable timing, sent me a form to waive rights on my reading of my poetry at the Poetry Society at Earls Court around the same time.
I’d better get on with producing some books, then, as time is in short supply. Quite a few of my near contemporaries are now shades although I feel I have a few years in me left.
