Doves?

I have now collated all the poems I could find (I’m sure others will emerge). Now comes the difficult task of starting to typeset them all. Which font to to use? Well some time ago I bought the digital facsimile of the Doves typeface but I’m not sure it would be the most appropriate for my needs at this particular moment in time.

When I first started producing Poetry London Newsletter I used the classic Edward Johnston Font for the London Underground (or as near as I could get for those ancient computers) for the magazine headings in homage to the idea of clarity and context.

Here’s a little video of the story behind the Doves font and how it has been partly exhumed from its watery grave to live again in a digital afterlife.
